The rules for using WiseTalk.

WiseTalk is operated by Slashifytech Labs Private Limited ("WiseTalk", "we", "us"). These terms apply to the WiseTalk website, web app and mobile apps (the "Platform"). Our Privacy policy is part of these terms.

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• The details you give us must be true and kept up to date.
• You may hold only one account, and you are responsible for everything done through it.

WiseTalk connects people facing career decisions ("seekers") with working professionals ("mentors") for 1:1 conversations over video or chat.

• Session prices are set by mentors and shown in Indian rupees before you confirm.
• When you book, the amount is taken from your wallet or paid through Razorpay, and stays locked until the session is complete.
• Prices shown include applicable taxes.

Refunds go back to your WiseTalk wallet or your original payment method within 2 to 3 working days.

• Your profile, experience and credentials must be accurate. We may ask you to verify them.
• Keep your availability up to date and join the sessions you accept.
• You are an independent user of the Platform, not an employee of WiseTalk.
• Payouts: mentors are paid after a session is completed successfully. WiseTalk charges a platform fee of 10% to 15%.

• Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech or discrimination.
• Do not record a session without the other person's consent.
• Do not share anything illegal, misleading or that you do not have the right to share.
• Do not move paid sessions off the Platform.

You can report a problem from the session screen or by writing to support@wisetalk.io.

You own the content you add, such as your profile and messages. You give us permission to use it to run the Platform. Reviews must reflect a real session and your own experience of it. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

The WiseTalk name, logo and Platform design belong to Slashifytech Labs Private Limited.

You can close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk. Where possible, we will tell you why.

The Platform is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, WiseTalk is not responsible for decisions you make based on a session, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the session in question.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use WiseTalk after that means you accept the updated terms.

Independent contractor. Mentors engage with WiseTalk, operated by Slashifytech Labs Private Limited, as independent contractors and not as employees, agents, or representatives. No employer-employee relationship is created, and Mentors receive no salary, provident fund, insurance, or statutory benefits.

Employer policy compliance. The Mentor is solely responsible for complying with their primary employer’s policies on moonlighting, freelancing, confidentiality, and non-compete obligations. WiseTalk has no obligation to verify or enforce such compliance. The Mentor shall indemnify WiseTalk against any claims arising from the Mentor’s breach of their employer’s policies in connection with use of the Platform.

Verification standards. Professional experience is verified solely through the Mentor’s publicly available LinkedIn profile. WiseTalk does not require offer letters, experience certificates, employee IDs, salary records, or any confidential employment documents. PAN and Aadhar are collected only for payout and tax compliance purposes, as detailed in the Privacy Policy, and are never shown on the Mentor’s public profile.

Mentor warranties. The Mentor confirms that the information shared on their LinkedIn profile and WiseTalk profile is accurate and not misleading. Misrepresentation may result in removal from the Platform.
